GRIT Lab Africa was founded by Prof. Abejide Ade-Ibijola and aims to provide FREE computer programming skills training and mentoring in mindset, discipline, and GRIT to young people all over Africa. GRIT Lab aims to create a space for training diverse young Africans of different backgrounds, genders, races, religions, and ethnicities to become computer programming champions, building them into a mix of great minds, disciplined, regimented personalities with good hearts for helping peers and solving societal problems using technology. In five years of running GRIT Lab, we’ve trained hundreds of young people, who are worthy in both learning and character, and they’ve gone on to secure and/or create jobs in the technology industry in South Africa.
